Canada is looking to fill more than one million vacant positions.
According to Statistics Canada’s latest report on job vacancies, payroll, and earnings, the number of job vacancies in the country reached a record-high of 1,012,900 in March – more than the earlier record of 988,300 in September 2021.
The number of vacancies reached a record high in the Canadian provinces of
Nova Scotia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. Industries that saw the most vacancies were hospitality, retail, health care and social assistance.

1. Express Entry
The main federal economic class immigration pathway is called Express Entry. Through Express Entry, there are three programs:
